‘Proudly Australian Made’
Brand Campaign

  • Santos was operating under growing public pressure on the energy sector and needed to move the conversation beyond industrial credentials. The brief was to build genuine social licence by connecting the brand to the people, places and industries that depend on it.

  • The campaign reframed Santos as a contributor to regional Australia rather than simply an extractor from it. A brand film shot across the country, supported by OOH, a campaign portal and community fact sheets, gave the brand a consistent human voice across multiple touchpoints and a platform extensible enough to carry future communications.

  • Led the campaign from concept through to delivery, working across brand film, OOH, photography and digital. Wrote the campaign and directed the art, with music direction shaping the emotional tone of the film. Hands-on across every output, from the broad strategic framing down to retouching and final finish.

Shot across regional Australia, the film captured the people, places and industries connected to Santos’ operations.

A bespoke piece of brand music was composed specifically for the campaign, bringing a sense of scale and cohesion to the story.
